I was recommended to this forum by a friend of mine after asking his opinion on these breast eagles. I know what the insignia is but am not sure if the four badges are original. Any comments would be much appreciated. The Army eagle measures 95mm x 34mm, the Navy eagle is 95mm x 36mm (marked with M in diamond on the reverse), Luftwaffe eagle is 83mm x 45mm and the Old Comrades is 96mm x36.5mm (reverse marked 1 GES.GESCH.)

I have been collecting small arms since some time and I mainly focus on weapons from russia (soviet and imperial) and finland with a main focus on the mosin nagant rifle. I recently have been offered this russian imperial helmet but since I’m not an expert in these I would love your guys opinion. Is this a real one? It looks to be repainted? How much would a helmet like this be worth?

‘anyone planning to attend?

It’s not what it used to be…for some at least. This used to be held in huge cow sheds (cleaned!) which were badly lit (if lit at all) and were FREEZING….kit/stuff was all over the floor and only the "posh" dealers had tables…there were very few non-sales pitches and "Living History" wasn’t really living then……but it was fun…….rummaging and negotiating was the order of the day…..
