God day everyone,

I’m not used to American army clothes, I’m a little more in German items and I hope someone is able to get light in the dark and may help my with information.

My father in law did buy this American navy shirt in a Harbor (in italy?) directly from a warship more than twenty years ago (probably it’s even longer like 30 or 40 years). It has had the shown trip approval dated by 26 OCT 45 in one pocket and the shown badges.

After some research, I think it was dedicated to a first class petty officer who was store keeper. I wasn’t able to get any information about the yellow eagle in the circle and I hope that some is able to solve this mystery.

On the other hand, I’d like to know if the shirt is dated to the time around WW2?

Is it something rare?

And are there other Information about the holder which may been said?

As far I’ve seen, there isn’t so much interest about Navy from WW2 but probably, I was also in the wrong places with this navy shirt.

I came across these Klaas reseller sheets and wanted to share them with the collecting community.
I also posted the Army dagger one and the HJ ones on the subforum as they reveal a bit more then you see at first sight

This Klaas reseller catalogue clearly shows that there is only 1 knife for both the organisations: Hitler Youth & Jungvolk wore the same knife.
So that puts an end to the story that the Jungvolk had their own "little" HJ knife, thats the one that lacks the diamond.
The tale that the little ones are Jungvolk ones was a nice way to get more money for a civil type of knife

That knife can be found as an Original camping or "roadtrip"knife, but was purely a civil knife and has nothing to do with the German Jungvolk Organisation.

War Relics Militaria sales

Thought I would show some more Luftwaffe crash site relics. This group of parts came from the crash of a Ju-87D in Ukraine. Unfortunately I only know a small bit of info on this particular plane, as research is still being done by the relic hunter who found it. Enough info was found on data plates to confirm it as a Ju-87D, but the most important info one can have from a Luftwaffe crash site is its werk#. The relic hunter found a part that contained the planes werk#, but due to damage the whole number can not be read. Here is all the info I have so far.

This Ju-87D crashed in March/April of 1944 in the area of Kamenets-Podolsky (Hube pocket) Only two digits of the werk# are know so far "22" It is unknown what caused the plane to crash, but it is clear it burned for quite some time after the impact. You can see the melted aluminum in the third photo. I will update this thread with more info, if the relic hunter can dig up anything new.
