I recently picked up, and sharing as a good example of a Simson. Overall in pretty good shape for 113 years old. Blade has significant greying with slight pitting. Not unit marked and no good story behind it. Good inspector markings. Simson & Co. Suhl.

I have been offered this helmet. It seems to have once had wire camo on it but has been taken off yet is still visible in the paint. My main question is about the liner. I have not seen a liner that looks like this before so wanted to get opinions on it. Also does the name on it look like it matches the helmet?

Is it a Luftwaffe or a Heer greatcoat I’ve got here?

I recently purchased a Heer Oberleutenant’s tunic and have been looking for the corresponding pants, belt, boots, etc. to turn it into a complete uniform. I believe this style of belt would be corresponding to the tunic; however, I dont know much about these and would love to get some opinions and info on this. Its selling on: Heer/Luftwaffe Officers Wide Brown Leather Belt , Military Antiques Stockholm which I know is a trusted site, but for peace of mind I’d really appreicate some other opinions on it, thanks! cool militaria
