Hello all.

Previously I was sold this Verwundetenabzeichen (wound badge) as an original WW2 German issue.
I had no experience as a collector, and was sceptical since it was missing a swastika, but I noticed many other eBay sellers were also selling similar badges as original WW2 issue, so I went ahead with the purchase.
To this day, many similar badges are still being sold on eBay, as original WW2 issue, and they have not been "denatzified".
I would like to know if there is a subtle detail denoting a WW2 German Verwundetenabzeichen which does not have the swastika?

Do all WW2 German Verwundetenabzeichen have a swastika or did some early war pieces not have them ?
Please let me know if my Verwundetenabzeichen is from WW1 or WW2 ?

Hello all.

I was previously sold an Eisernes Kreuz(EK) Ring and was assured that it was from the German WW2 period.

I was informed that it had been tested by a Jeweler to confirm the Silver content and Silver mark but I can not recall if the Silver content was rated 800 or 825, as the Silver mark is not clear.
Since purchasing this ring I have seen many similar rings for sale which has made me suspicious regarding its authenticity.
Please see attached photos and let me know if you think this EK ring is original to the WW1 or WW2 German time periods, or if it is just an outright fake.

I recently acquired this bayonet and was doing a little research on the cartouches. I have yet came across a site that could tell me, so I thought I would share it here. I was really wanting to now if this was Colonial Expeditionary, Legion or whatever information I could find to possibly ascertain what theater it may have served. Thank you.
