M40 SD Luft Normandy Camo - ET68 - Lot # 4860 - Named

Just picked this one up, a bath tub sized single decal Luft camo. It is an ET 68 shell, Lot # 4860, complete with chinstrap and a 1940 dated F W Muller reinforced aluminum banded liner with one squared aluminum bale and one rounded steel bale. The name tag one the neck of the apron reads "Hans Lehmen". I guess this would be classified a Normandy camo. Hope you like it. Jim G.

Canadian Helmet - Please help - Any thoughts/info would be appreciated

I picked this up off of CL.
Guy said he found it in his house in the 1970s when he moved in.
He lives in Pennsylvania USA.
Any thoughts on it or information would be appreciated.
Does it look to be in original condition (paint/ hardware etc)
I believe I have a Canadian WWII helmet but I really do not know much about it.
I mostly collect US helmets but I figured it would be a nice helmet to add to my WWII collection.
Thank you in advance

Question M1 ETO Officer relic?

Hi folks,

I kinda love these things. Doesn’t always have to be a near mint M1.
This one caught my attention, showing the remains of what could have been a follow me bar on the rear.
Also front and right side show remains of white paint.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for any given info.

Peter

SS License Plates

I feel these are both originals as I have compared them with known originals and had some collector
feedback that I trust, although there have been one or two who have cast doubt and for that reason
I am wanting a few more opinions from a different forum.

Here they are…

The first one is from a Das Reich halftrack.

German WWI pilot’s helmet?

I’ve recently acquired this helmet in South Africa. My initial research seems to indicate that it’s a WW1 Imperial German pilot’s helmet (as seen at Military Antiques and Museum).

Can anyone confirm the identity for me and what it could be worth?
