Approve me German M35 battle damage

Hello does anybody know what caused all the cracks on all sides of this helmet ??

Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silver, FLL, Freidrich Linden, Ludenschied

Another recent addition to my PAB collection.
This hollow zinc "vaulted" example from this maker is described as such because the left track on the tank is clearly larger than the right.
This emphasizes the depth of the badge and adds to the three dimensional appearance.
This example still retains most of it’s silver wash.
Ralph.

Swedish M40 issued to Dutch exile forces

I picked up this rig. All looks pretty good but I paid up for the serial number range as delivered to the Dutch resistance force. Maybe should not have as it does have an import mark on the front of the grip strap but finding one without an import mark is next to impossible.

The information I obtained was from.

This information came from The Swedish pistol m/1940 - Husqvarna and Lathi V35

I am still searching for additional information.

1944 Danish exile authorities had ordered 2000 pistols. These pistols were delivered and marked by inspection officer Cpt Sten Stenmo (SS). These pistol serial numbers range from 67 000 – 69 202 but there are some also in 64 000 – 74 000 range. Another 2 500 pieces are known to be sold to the Danish inspected by Swedish inspectors.

Freikorps and Reichswehr period

Title: German Uniforms, Insignia & Equipment 1918-1923: Freikorps, Reichswehr, Vehicles, Weapons
Author: Charles Woolley
Publisher: Schiffer Military Publishing. Ltd, USA
Year: 2002
ISBN: 076431663X
# of Pages: 183

Notes: This highly illustrated volume covers the uniforms and insignia of Germany’s military in transition from the trenches of the Western front, to street fighting in Berlin, Munich, and other cities, the bitter contests with the Poles and Communists in the Baltic, the Kapp.Luttwitz Putsch, and finally the campaign in the Ruhr. The Quasi-uniformed look of the Communist revolutionaries, as well as images of the tanks and armored cars operated by the Kokampf of the Provisional Reishswehr, are also examined in detail. The photographs and many color illustrations pained and drawn during this violent time, make this a unique volume for uniform and equipment researchers, historians, and modelers. A companion volume will cover the period 1924-1935 and will include uniforms of the: Reichswehr, Stahlhelm, SA, SS, Erhardt Brigade and other para-military units.

Tank destroyer sweetheart item?

I received this in the mail today from a friend who picked this up at the SOS and thought I would like it, he was wrong I loved it and value his friendship.
Not sure if it’s a sweetheart item, it’s not a pillowcase. It measures roughly 13×14”. I found a frame in the closet and green felt, it turned out really nice.

Repop P08 holster?

I have seen this hardshell holster for sale but it does not seem quite right. The stitching from the left belt strap does not contnue onto the holster itself, but there is a gap - something I have not seen before. Any opinions welcome.1390123139012413901221390121

Strange blood font

Hi my friends,

These blood fonts are the most suspicious as I collect the erkennungsmarken.

Is this genuine?? If it’s fake, the seller is mixing it with the collar tabs + shoulderboards..!!

Luftwaffe Eight Day Clock.

A Luftwaffe Kienzle clock, one that I’ve after for quite a while.

It has the data plate attached to the back case and stamped BAL 1121 with MAHLE cast inside the case.

Good time keeper.

Hard to photograph with the flash..
