New addition - Finn issued Czech vz24 Pistol….

Picked this up at an auction over the weekend - absolutely over the moon with it. This was a type that was very high on my ‘Want but will probably never own ‘list.

The grips were a bit loose when I got it - so much so that the magazine couldn’t be removed. After a bit of cleaning, realigning, and tightening, everything fits nicely and works perfectly.

With my limited knowledge of these pistols, I thought my grips were incorrect and should be wood - but plastic grips are correct on pistols after serial number 105000.

I already had a Finish small Ersatz holster - the vz24 fits nicely.

New Purchase , NSDAP Parteiabzeichen M1/14 scarce variant?.

Evening Gentlemen.

Purchased this nice NSDAP Party Badge tonight and is maker marked RZM / 14 , i cannot find a similar example on this thread for maker Matthius Oescbsler & Sohn, Ansbach , only a later Painted version of this badge and the buttonhole veriant , is this Enamel one hard to find perhaps?. (or the buttonhole attachment may have been removed and a pin attached instead? - as the pin is the opposite way round.)
Thank you.

WW1 German display

Just bought this large photograph of a German soldier today. Hopefully it will be possible to re-frame it at some point. In the meantime, I think it makes a good backdrop for a display, so I thought I’d share it with you all. Many thanks, Doug

Is a medals recipient important to you

So I think my collecting is going to centre on medals mainly at the moment. Having looked at possible purchases I was wondering if people think what the recipient did in the war has bearing if you would purchase it or do you see everyone as equal importance? Interested in peoples views. Will give mine later.
