Some of my Luftwaffe pilot/air crew stuff.

Just got in a pair of private purchase officer’s trousers to go with my Leutnant pilot tunic, so I decided to pull out my bag of flight uniforms and do a quick photo shoot. Photos are not the best and I didn’t take the time to pull out any badges/awards/flight clasps. Soon I’ll assemble a mannequin and deck the Leutnant pilot out like a Christmas tree and take a few photos.

Pair of SS Honor Rings for comparison

Here are a couple of mine, a ‘44 and a ‘37. The ‘44 I bought, sold and bought again. Both are papered by Don Boyle and I have a full dossier on the officer who was issued the ‘44.

US 5th Infantry Division M1 Helmet

Hey Guys,

Just added this one to my growing collection of wartime US M1 helmets. It has an early Saint Clair low pressure helmet liner with at 2LT bar fastened to the front and the Soldier’s initials on the inside. Would love to keep my US division marked helmet collection growing!

PS. Not sure why my pictures are all posting are posting sideways. Hasn’t done that on any of the other forums I am on.

Just getting started…

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to start a collection of WWII memorabilia and thought it would be helpful to join this forum for my own education & tips of the trade.
Thanks,
Andrew
