New to me SA Dagger by Aesculap

(Haven’t been on this forum for a while, and found I couldn’t post here earlier so I first posted on a general forum on german militaria. Seems like my account is ok and I can post now)

Having stayed away from German items for good reason with all the fakes, getting into the history of that region and so drawn to period pieces. I was burned again recently by picking up a cap, but was thankfully was able to return it and instead picked up this dagger. Hoping I did ok this time.

This was represented as an early SA dagger by Aesculap. Not perfect by any means, especially with all the scabbard loss, but the color is supposed to be correct. Marked "Wm" on the cross guard which seems ok for this maker?

I tried to get pics of the important details, but let me know if any additional pics are needed to determine if this is ok or possibly a put together? Level of German fakes really scare me, but this one seem to feel ok….

Thanks in advance for the advice.cool militaria

Did some trading with a friend and ended up with this ‘45 Springfield. Has the correct op rod, mostly SA parts with IHC rear sights. S.A. 2 52 barrel. Also came with around 400 rounds of mixed surplus ball, tracer and armor piercing.

Hi All,
Please see pictures of my latest purchase of an M40 Q64 single decal Luftwaffe helmet , the pictures don’t quite capture the incredible paintwork overall on this helmet. This is the third helmet in my collection with links to my other two purchases below.
