Finally found a liner for my m42 ef64 km helmet I posted last week that was missing its liner and seen this one and matches perfect and was cheap, it’s dated 1944 and is size 64/57, leather is rough as you can see but at least the m42 will have a original late war liner in it now

Goodmorning guys,

I have recently bought a couple of books on the SS and came across another one ( the one shown below). But before I will purchase this one I am wondering if anyone here read this book and know if it is any good?

WIth the exception of the gold version awarded to Manstein, this is probably just about the rarest Krim that you will encounter.

It’s by Maedicke, a scarce shield in its own right, but on Kriegsmarine backing and the early vesion with four prongs on the reverse rather than tabs on the edge. Only a handful of this type are still known to exist in collections.

Bought at a gunshow from a dude that didnt have a clue if real or not,I think its good but never hurts to have a second opinion,paid 20.00,cant really go wrong for that.
