1918 Rich.A.Herder S84/98 bayonet

A century old S84/98 by Richard A. Herder. Imperial Prussian proof marks on pommel and dated on spine "W" 18. Without crosshead screws, so probably early 1918 and so late WW1 production. The blade is blued and that would suggest post WW1 service with the possibly the Reichswehr or Police. The blade has been sharpened, scabbard not matching, original oak wood grips and frog is a Luftwaffe "LBA" marked one "Heinrich Sohn, NEL- ULM 1938". Quite possibly served in two wars.

TIGER dual marked “faschinenmesser” 20cm, with unmarked big brother

Two examples, but featuring mainly the TIGER marked 20cm blade faschinenmesser for a senior subordinate of the Feuerwehr. The prowling tiger on one ricasso and “TIGER” on the other side is one of my favorite. The back drop is an unmarked faschinenmesser (25cm blade) for the junior subordinate. These a still very reasonably priced and make great entry level purchases into the hobby.

Approve me Hey all, I have a question about an expended cartridge I picked up in Sicily.

My name is Jason and I was part of many US POW/MIA investigations, mostly in Laos and Cambodia, but also in Papua New Guinea, the Solomons, Sicily, etc… While in Sicily, I found a spent casing and I can read most of the faceplate…but still can’t find information on the manufacturer, etc. I am looking for someone who is knowledgeable and can take a moment to point me in the right direction. I am placing this (along with some other relics I found there) in a shadowbox for my office.

Thanks in advance.

Jason Heyman

Looking for Polish Air Force memorabilia

All the badges and medals are for trade only. I’m looking for pre-war and ww2 polish air force memorabilia. Specifically from the pre-war I’m looking for 1st Polsih Air Force regiment officer version, and the 3rd Polsih Air Force regiment. I’m also looking for any other pre-war squadron badges.
Specifically from Ww2 I’m looking for Polish Air Force 302, 318, 663 and PFT "Skalski Circus" squadron badges.

On the pictures of the VM, I wrote the name of the makers. I made a mistake and misidentified two VM by writing that there made by A. Bertrand when in reality there made by a French maker named Delande.

If you are interested, please private message me.

What are these, and who wore them? Spanish?

Hello,
I bought these a while ago, put them away and forgot about them. I was told these are Spanish civil war era, however I have no idea. It looks to me like they used to be red at one time, however they are so brittle, looks like its flaking apart, also, appears to be metal, diamond under the fabric. Sorry, about the crappy pictures. Thanks guys!
