I would like some oppinions on these two. I don’t know about the R.S. marked, the hindge look strange, but I think the unmarked is OK.

Need help! WWII Japanese parade sword? or fake/copy??

:p Greetings friends! Here is a sword I recently purchased for short money. It is supposed to be a WWII parade sword but I feel the quality is way inferior for it to be that. Very crudely made/forged, supposedly purchased in the 80’s. I know there were fakes made in India at one point, the serial number amuses me no other markings. Any Ideas? And as always Thanks for all of your help, knowledge and friendship! I’ve been a member a day and have already gained a wealth of information!

BF V video game might be in WW2

I suppose this wont interest the majority on this forum. But this game might reignite interest for ww2 as whole for a while like in the early 2000s with the general public

I have been playing battlefield games since i was 7 and too see them do a ww2 game now is great. Though it is just a teaser it mostly likely be ww2

The battlefield series last game was set in ww1 and i am very excited if this teaser means ww2

Heres the link to the teaser video
YouTube

Would you guys agree its ww2?i think the german team in the game are represented with the balkenkreuz rather than a swastika. You know for sales reasons in germany.

Approve me New on this nice forum

Hello everyone,
I am from the Lithuania and am looking to learn and make friends and share knowledge on this forum. I have an interest in WW2 german thinks.

Type 95 NCO Shin Gunto

After some time researching Gunto’s and the Japanese involving in the second world war, I decided it was time to go on the hunt for a Shin Gunto.

The past weekend I finally found 2 swords at the Militracks market, this one appeared the better of the two, and based of what I knew and a second opinion I took the gamble and bought the sword.

So far i’ve found out(atleast I think), based on the markings, that its probably(?) produced by "seki" at the "Kokura" arsenal.

What do you think? Thanks in advance!
