Thoughts on Afrikakorps Tunic

I’m thinking about possibly acquiring this WW2 Afrikakorps tunic and I would like some feedback as to it’s authenticity.
I realize that the photos are not the best quality, but I was hoping to get some thoughts and opinions. From the description, this well worn Tunic has some small snags and field repairs on the back. It has 2 loops for badges and any makings and sizing stamps are faded or washed out.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Gravity knife unmarked.

Guys I picked this up today it seems to be time period correct. it is very Hefty but has an unmarked blade. This thing is dinged up dirty and grungy and it appears that this gravity knife has a release lever possibly from a first pattern gravity knife as it is Blue or blackened steel. Any help as to verification of authenticity would be greatly appreciated. I have four other gravity knives all different makers_helbig,weyersberg,smf etc. but this is my first unmarked example I have been able to put my hands on. to mee it looks as if the lever release spring on the knife has been replaced but looks like very long ago, along with the repplacement lever im thinking it could just be a period repair?

Fascinating LCM Log 1943-1945

Hello,

I’m posting some pictures (sorry for poor quality) taken of a ship’s log from the pacific theater. I purchased this several years ago and quite honestly, need to review it again for information about the actual name/number of the ship (the book is packed up with other material at present). I believe the ship is an LCM, and its crew participated in several battles and/or supplied several occupied islands including Iwo Jima and Okinawa. The full name of the sailor that kept the log is unknown. He kept detailed entries (1943-1945) of various official information (I’m assuming that this was part of his duties) but he was also very lovesick as indicated by other not-so official notes and comments. He likely kept the log and took it home as a souvenir and he (or someone else) used a couple of pages in the back as a log for hours worked on a farm. Unfortunately, no date for that set of entries but still a neat part of the history of this book. When I revisit this book I’ll try to find the number of the ship and post it. Thanks for looking.

Tom

Help for a Vehicle in feldpost

Hello everyone,

I’m currently translating the feldpost letters of a member of Naschub-Trupp 326 of the 326 Infanterie-Division. He works as a driver. After managing to escape the battle of Falaise, he receives a new car only days before the Ardennes Offensive but I can’t quite make out what’s it’s model.
I read "Om-Wagen" or "6m-Wagen" but I did not find any vehicle with this denomination in the Wehrmacht.

If anybody could help me with finding what type of car he was driving, that would be great !

Cheers,

Satzar.
