Vyantix Rx To support these hypotheses and observations, three studies on the effects of androgen deprivation therapy (indicated in particular in prostate cancer have shown that this deprivation has adverse effects on cognitive performance. So we can rightly think that preserving our Vyantix Rx peaks throughout our lives will help us maintain and improve our mental functions. The psychological effects of Vyantix Rx psychological effects of the Vyantix Rx But beyond the improvement of memory, Vyantix Rx also has more subtle effects on male psychology.

Named Vietnam Chaplains helmet

This helmet is one I have had my eyes on for awhile. I know to most it looks just like any other Chaplains helmet “wow another helmet with a cross” this one is different it has a cross and rank on the front which is rarely seen in Vietnam era helmets and I have never seen another one. This Chaplain served from WW2 through Vietnam and retired in 1971.
Thanks for looking,
Marty

And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy—the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?

Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse, Unmarked 65, K&Q Einzelspange

A recent addition to my EK collection. :)
I only have one other parade mount EK II, so I thought this would be a good example to balance out the display.
Also, I have a bit of an affinity for a nice Klein & Quenzer cross. :)
There is no marking on the ring.
Ralph.

Kavallerie Regiment 18 Waffenrock

The next Waffenrock that arrived via the recent Andreas Thies auction I was able to photograph is this one to an Unteroffizier in Kavallerie Regiment 18.
KR 18 (1934-1939) was formed from the earlier 18. Reiter Regiment of the Reichsheer. It had unfortunately a short life under the banner of KR18.

In 1939, the Regiment was disbanded to form the basis of several Aufklaerungs-Abteilungen. Namely A-A 5, 25, 35, and 178.
So, unfortunately KR 18 probably never saw any combat as a unit in WWII, but it’s former members certainly did with their new A-A.

This Waffenrock shows the variant I have seen exercised a few times by tailors in using the wider cuff and collar litzen when making the shoulder boards. It also has real silver thread in the collar tabs and cuff bars which has oxidized into a nice patina.

Double Decal SS Transitional - A Real Unicorn!

I first learned of this one when it surfaced in North Carolina about 5 or 6 years ago, found in a junk shop. *I was trying to get it for years, and lo and behold…. Anyway, here it is, a double decal SS transitional with an Austrian Party shield and a MIRROR RUNIC SHIELD! *There is one other known to exist, the one on Billy’s site. *I have been told there is another in a private collection in Oregon, but no one I know knows for sure if it is true. *And this one. *Someone defaced the decals, but fortunately, tired of the exercise while they were still in decent shape. *This one is put together exactly like the one on Billy’s site, an Austrian shell, an Austrian civic style liner with a dome pad, the same color, the same decals, and, like Billy’s example, it has a neck stamped size ink stamp, and what I believe to be a unit designation. *On this one the unit mark is "I 1 W". *I believe the Roman numeral "I" to be*a Unit/district designation, the arabic number "1" to be a company designation, and I believe*the "W" is for Wien - Vienna. *There are only theories as to why the runes are reversed. *Some think it is a misprint. *Others think mirror runes were printed to be used on double runic SS helmets with the "mirror" runes to be placed on the left of the helmet*so that both sets of runes point forward. *Still others think these were of Austrian manufacture, and printed at some point between 1936 and 1938, after the Schutzstaffel was outlawed in Austria in 1936 and before the Anschluss.* I lean towards the third theory. *Anyway, here it is. *I can’t believe I was able to land this one! *Hope you like it. *Jim G.

Post Your Spanish Buckles

I wanted to start a thread for Spanish buckles in order to create a reference database. Many of the Spanish buckles available are difficult to identify or date because they are mostly relegated to the Franco period which spanned almost 4 decades from 1939 t0 1975. The post Franco buckles are easy to identify by the closed crown of the monarchy as are the pre Republic era prior to 1931 which also feature the crown of King Alfonso XIII. The civil war era buckles of 1936 -1939 are more readily identifiable but many were worn by both sides of the conflict. It is particularly difficult to differentiate between the early and late Franco era. There are very few comprehensive reference books to aid in this endeavor. If you are aware of any good reference books or links, please post them here as well.

Please feel free to post any buckles you may own or are trying to identify. Hopefully in due time, members will be able to contribute useful information for other collectors.

MY FIRST POST IS A 1943 REGULATION GALA PARADE BELT AND BUCKLE AS WORN BY THE GUARDIA CIVIL
