SA Dienstdolch - Wagner&Lange

I purchased this dagger at auction this week. It is my first complete SA. It appears all original early dagger. It is stamped with gruppe Ns. My concerns are that the blade has a good amount of streaks or wear from going in and out of scabbard and i would like to know if the lacquer/shiny finish on the handle and scabbard are original or applied later. I tried to take good pics of the dagger and the finish but found it difficult due to reflections. The finish on scabbard is kind of "swirly".

everything is tight and it has good weight to it.

Any comments to help confirm if I got a good example or not are appreciated.
Joe

I can’t see images from iPhone.

Hi, I read the forum mostly from my iPhone outside home, but I can t see the images loaded with internal upload, while I can see the ones added with external links. Can it be fixed ? Thanks.

Question is this authentic?

Hi all, I picked up this helmet and I believe it to be original WW2 but I’m not completely sure about the star as I see mostly helmets with the outline of a star and not solid like this one or no star at all. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Thanks in advance!

by: warbuff

Description: Up for sale is a wonderful, cap removed SS overseas cap skull. This came straight out of the veterans cigar box full of items he brought back. The group was purchased from the veterans daughter in North Carolina. There was a lot of great stuff in the box, and this was in the mix. A great piece of history.
