Good day friends ! Today came the buckle senior Reichsbahn in zinc , which we discussed earlier.The seller I wrote that the buckle is fake and pointed to loose casting places , as well as a strange fastener . The seller replied that the buckle is his original and if he prove that it is false only then he will return the money…. Guys, am asking all mouth its opinion on this issue in terms of authenticity or forgery. Places that loose I don’t like I pointed circled in red. With respect !

Hello all,

I have a medal that has been in the family for quite some time that I recently identified as the German War Merit Cross, 2nd Class with swords. It was the medal only, the ribbon was missing. I recently purchased a replacement ribbon to go with it. Obviously, the ribbon should go through the ring at the top of the medal. My question is, how was the ribbon attached to the uniform. Was there originally some type of clasp that held the ribbon to the uniform? Hope this isn’t a stupid question, thanks!
