Thought some of the members might be interested in this. Found this old rifle whilst out detecting in the goldfields of central Victoria, Australia, last weekend. Appears to be a Martini-Henry rifle, however it is too rusted to get any markings off it. It is a breech-loader like the Martini and appears to be of a similar caliber. Manufactured between 1871-1889.

Evening all.. I’m from Montreal Canada and have always been somewhat of a WW2 history nut. I have started a collection of military anything and hope to use this site as a reference to learn and also get information regarding items of interest. Since this is my first post let me ask this question.. I have a belt buckle that I can not locate anywhere information on. I believe it is eithe Canadian or British however I could be wrong. In which forum would I want to post a picture to see if anyone can identify it for me. Thanks

I’m looking for some opinions on this one. It certainly looks good, but I’m not expert on WW1 era helmets, much less the camo ones. My specialty is WW2 era. Any opinions are appreciated!

Lovely green colour NSKK Plaque.

May be a participation or just a commemorative badge, for a ride around the Bavarian mountains in 1937?

About 2 x 3 inches in size and has some weight to it as well.

I believe there is a "Red" version also?

Bottom picture shows a NSDAP lapel pin badge for the actual size.
