Out of the Woodwork M40 Heer Q66

I just got this M40 Q66 yesterday, it was directly purchased through a vet’s grandson. His grandfather took it from a KIA German (he killed) along with a few other items. Upon closer inspection I found the hard to see name "Luther" scratched in to the front lid. This helmet has never been in a collection. The only info I could get about the Vet, was his name, "Guy Adams" from Georgia. If someone could point me to any resources to start researching this vet, anything would be appreciated.

Need help! British 78th division Royal Irish Fusiliers cloth insignia

just purchased this interesting set, sellers description : These particular combinations were made for a military exhibition in the 1960s. The badges sewn onto original Khaki backing are original World War Two insignia. I have several 78th div formation badges and the battleaxe looks good, from my research 78th div never used cloth shoulder titles, your thoughts much appreciated,
regards, John.

Need help! Opinions***Authenticate Order Of Saint Anne/Anna? 1st type?O

Thanks for checking this out. Went to an auction a little bit ago and somoene saw me bidding on military items and I she showed me this she found and wants to get rid of it. I told her i may be interested after I do my diligence and such before I make an offer and tell her more about it. I have begun taking an interest in imperial items but am extremely new to this but I am beginning to think that now i’m Hooked.. Looks like Order of Saint Anne??

Would love to hear some opinions about this piece!

Looks like the crown was field done or privately soldered? Also it looks unmarked aside from the owners name poorly engraved on the reverse. Don’t want to over pay since it looks like it does have some issues or concerns to me. Miniatur Luftwaffe dolch for review/opinions

Afternoon all,

Came across this lovely looking piece this afternoon and think it would look awesome alongside my full size 1st Pattern Lufty.

I’m not too familiar with miniature daggers so would appreciate the help/comments of those oracles that are wiser than me.

It’s priced at 350 Euro which appears to be a decent price.

Thanks

Jamie
