Approve me New User

Hi there,

Been collecting helmets for the last 50 years. Main collection from Malta, England and France.

Would be interested to share my helmets with the forum.

News Help 2!!!

Bello! Is this Polizei Tunic original?

Local find - Treue Dienst Ehrenzeichen, 25 Jahre

There’s nothing more satisfying than buying something you like local rather than buying online huh?

I got this at an antiques fair near me Last weekend with some stamps, I quite like the wear on it, gives it quite a nice look. Didn’t know these medals came with a pin. You can see on the ring and pin where the frosting has been worn off.

Due to the convincing wear i have no fear of it being a reproduction. It seems very natural and only for £25!

I haven’t been posting as much recently, school tests and revision have been keeping me busy, but with the tattie holidays soon, i will get more stuff posted cool militaria

Enjoy the photos(still using flash on my iphone, keep forgetting to buy a new bulb!)

WWII USN Badge Repair Question. Safety Catch Locking Piece Missing

Got a very nice WWII USN shield with anchors badge that is missing the center ‘rolling lock’ on the safety catch for the pin clasp.

The center piece is just missing. It just needs the piece that’s missing added, but I’m not sure of the size needed or where to find the correct replacement.

Any help would be appreciated.

The center locking piece I’m talking about that is missing…

K98 Bayonet Scabbard identification

Hi,

I received my first k98 bayonet in the mail today. I’ve done some research online & think I’ve managed to ID the bayonet itself as a wartime bayonet, manufactured by Jetter und Scheerer in 1939. It also has 4 Waffenamt markings, all with the number 155.

The scabbard is not matching (I knew this beforehand), but I would love to find out more about it nonetheless: Any way to tell when that was made and if it’s also wehrmacht or possibly an export? The only marking I found on the scabbard was the serial: 9577. No maker, year or Waffenamt markings on it. Is it common that scabbards lack markings other than the serial?

Any help would be appreciated!
