Officer’s photograph

Compelling photograph; well to me anyway. What is his rank (Captain?), and what branch of the service (Engineering?) is on his shoulder boards? While we’re at it, what does it say on the back of the picture? Thank you for any help you can render.

Incredible US AH-64 Apache crash-No serious injuries.

Here’s some amazing footage of a US AH-64 Apache crashing at a US base in Afghanistan. Everyone survived which is suprising when you see what occurs, the groundcrewman that it nearly crashes on was especially fortunate.

The crew were able to walk away from it, straight into the CO’s office for a debrief sans tea and biscuits (probably).
