My First M16 Helmet………

Had a good day at the Toronto Military Show, and picked up this nice M16.
It is only a shell, with most of the paint gone, but I have wanted one
of these helmets for quite a while. It’s an "Si. 66"……….

Real or not.

I was beaten at the post on this one, on ebay. Desert Rat lid. (Yes I know.) I think that the helmet is ok, paint looks good, decal looks good too, see the stack marks OVER it?
Then why is the paper still stuck to the liner like an unissued helmet?

Over to the wiser heads.

M35 DD Heer SE60 Lot# 3646

I picked this up a few months ago. It is the smallest size helmet shell, an SE60, with original smooth factory applied apple green paint, partial chin strap, complete and supple size 53 liner with original draw string, an aluminum reinforced liner band, a faint ink dome acceptance stamp, and decent decals. The Heer decal is an ET transfer, and the tricolor is slightly toned. Not mint, just a decent combat used double decal Heer. Hope you like it. Jim G.
