It has crossed the globe to get here ….USA to England to Australia …..( no eagle has landed puns please )

Hey guys my dad said that there was a possibility that he could bring me to the sos show next year. I have this japanese ww2 katana that i havent gotten authenticated and would like to bring it there to get it authenticated. Could i do that? And also would there be people there that specialize in that to do those sort of things.

Hey guys im really looking in this now and im having troubles finding a group. I live in northern illinois and am looking for a group that goes to the Rockford reenactment. Im looking in just infantry no airborne. I will be willing to join groups based in northern indiana, chicagoland, Northern illinois, southern wisconsin, and central illinois. Any help would be much appreciated.

So I bought the helmet recently and can’t figure out where it was used or what the insignia means. The stamping on the interior is ZR22 and it has the round rivets on the chin strap holders. (I guess this means American?) The liner is the old next looking style, but the color scheme throws me off. I believe the blue was added later?
