Need help! American or British Lid?
I hate using cell phone pics, but it’s all I have. A friend spotted this at an upcoming estate auction. I’m not up on my "dough boy" style helmets, so is this American or British? I have not seen that liner before. I’d like to go for it, but what’s one like this go for on the market? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, as always! 
Ruined SS Dagger.
I’m not sure if this is real since SS daggers are not my particular area but it makes me SO very sad that someone would throw 2,000 down the drain by ruining a perfectly good SS dagger. Again not sure if it’s real but if it is I weep for this dagger. :’(
Question My Great Grandfather, Adolf H…
This is a picture of my Great Grandfather, Adolf… Hasse.
He was a German living in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. According to my grandmother, when the SS rolled in, he was conscripted into their service.
This is the only picture I have of him. Can anyone comment on the type of hat he is wearing? Can it perhaps give a clue as to what he did during World War II?

My New HJ Armband
I bought this off of an impulse and I couldn’t pass it up for the price, since I believe that it is original. What do you guys think? This is my first HJ piece in my collection. Sadly its not mint and there is no RZM tag, but I think it adds character.
