Description: Early J.A. Henckels HJ Knife. Blade shows age, scratches, and evidence of sharpening. Marked J.A. Henckels and Ges geschutzt. Motto has been polished off over time. Diamond has a few tiny cracks. Leather is nice and supple. Blade is complete. Diamond wiggles.

I went to a militaria and arms fair for today near Gardermoen airport, Oslo, Norway. The fair was a lot larger this year than before with many interesting objects, plenty of heavy machine guns and rare WW2 weapons this time(Unfortunately out of my price range).

Please note: You are not allowed to take pictures of the fair itself.

This is what I decided to drag home with me:

Mosin Nagant, not in the best of condition, but I really liked the look of it, plus, it was quite cheap(Details will be in a different thread:

Between the wars Germany did not actually have any proper Military Police. When MPs were needed for major troop movements such as the Anschluss with Austria, or the invasion of the Sudetenland, personnel from the civil police (usually the Gendarmerie) were temporarily attached to the army.

Walter Tronnier was one of these.
