M40 ss

Hi Guys,

As I do own a few small German & Third Reich items, I took some photos on my day off (finally) and some of this was part of them.

I have also posted it on the German Helmet Walhalla forum.

Some of you may know me, but I assume most will not. I mainly collect Soviet militaria 1917-1958. I do not own much German & Third Reich material.

In any case, I do own a few pieces, one of which is this. Despite its poor condition, I have owned &enjoyed it for quite sometime and am unable to let it go.

I thought it interesting to have it discussed here, and hope the images provided are worthwhile.

One attribute that perplexes me is that the LH decal seems to be an Army type decal. Or, is it the swastika decal that has worn off strangely?"

Hi, I have this leather cover with the letters ” RWS 2d” on it and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of what this is and where it came from! On the inside it says ” Spaulding & co, France & Chicago, Made In France,. It has silky cloth on the inside and leather on the oustide, the inside folds. It is about 15 1/2 inches long and 12 inches wide. Thanks!

what are your thoughts on this piece. I bought a ww1 grouping and this badge was at the bottom of the pile. im no expert it looks bad the catch looks awful maybe it was repaired late war??

Fake alert Fake ek1 being sold as an origional

Just spoted this cross which doesnt like right at all! also i dont think the maker mark L/17 even exists. Ive added the pics below also the link to the other TR items being sold.
