Unknown Cartridges - WW2

These cartridges were found close to an RAF base - along the beach.
I assume that there must have been a training range on this beach.

The cartridge on the left is a .50 cal.
I cannot seem to find what the other 2 cartidges are.
The headstamps are K38 F I Z & K40 F I Z.

Does anyone know what these are? And from what aircraft they would have been used in?

Thanks

Jimbo

4th Annual ‘Military Vehicle Day’ - Georgina Ontario, Canada………

Well, I dusted her off, managed to get the old ‘42 Willys running, and attended
the Georgina Military Museum’s 4th annual ‘Military Day’ - May 26, 2012.

This show is growing bigger each year with participants and re-enactors
from the War of 1812 to the present - including vehicles currently
in use by the Canadian Armed Forces.

This years show was held in memory of local WWII Veteran,
the late Bud Leggett, who is seen in the last photo
during the 2011 event………

My new addition Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter in Silver

Hello Everyone:

Well, here is my newest pick up! I got this from Hermann.
I keep jumping around from one area of TR to another!
It may kill me, but it’s been a fun ride!

Anyone have a period photo of one of these being worn?

thanks
Cody

I think I posted under the wrong section, could someone move it for me?

Question Can someone help me identify this bayonet?

Hello All

I recently came into possession of this bayonet as my grand father left it in his will, I had no idea he had this or where he got it from, he served in 2nd world war for Britain but I think the bayonet is german but I am not 100% certain to be honest.

I have included photos to help identify the bayonet.

With regards specifici markings, the hilt of the bayonet states R.14.62 yet on the scabbard or sheathe it states R.12.172, I am assuming this means this bayonet did not originally come with this sheathe?

The only other marking is on the blade itself it says Seommerda.

Any help identifying this bayonet would be greatly appreciated if only to better understand its history as my grand father didnt mention this to me at all and I am interested as to where it comes from.

Cheers in advance,

I found a ww1 helmet at a local surplus store. It was half painted black and on top of a pot. no liner chinstrap or anything. I barely recognized it. He was asking 35? Contemplating buying it…

Could be a Good buy?

Michael

WW2 helmet?

I just got this helmet for 55 dollars and it came with a great shape ww2 liner, I originally wanted a vietnam lid, but i got this helmet because thats what I thought this was. I inspected it when I got home and the cork was the same as my ww2 helmet but I saw no front seam. The number in the front was 976. I judged it by the chinstrap and I think it is ww2. so…. now I am confused.

Need help! M35 Advice

Hi gents, came across this helmet on a local equivalent of craigslist; The original photo was small so I asked for more photos, I’ve received these; and I’ve no idea what I’m looking at. I can’t tell if it’s a repro, post war model or a foreign variant. Help?
