Great basic older book on uniforms, on the cheap, with added benefit.

This came in the mail today, forgot I’d bought it

Neat book with a vintage flavor, 1977 print date, they also printed it again in 1994. I liked this one being older. My personal reason is that I’ve become suspicious of period pics on the internet recently, movie stills and re-enactment pics are being passed off as the real thing. I want to read a book where I’m reasonably certain the pics are genuine.

This is a pretty nifty book and easily had for very little money. Nice combination.

PS I’ve had that book next to it for a couple years, I’m getting pretty itchy to read it… The Arms of Krupp. I bet it’s pretty fascinating, if you like that sort of history.

Luftschutz Lid for Review

Hello to all, does this lid look correct? The maker’s #s are Paul Diener of Dresden, I think. The yellow material under fingers has padding in it. The grey or brown under the lid is light reflection or something else as it is all blue underneath.

Need help! research help

Hello this might be the William Treite that my soldbuch refers too but I cant read it there any mention of his parents on this there names are Carl Treite and Loise Treite (maiden name is Foot)

The record shows the mother as Luise Treite, I dont know if this is the right one or not but any help would be appreciated
