WW2 American Field Service officer uniform

Just wanted to show another American Field Service uniform in my collection. This one was obtained from Bay State Militaria and belonged to Lieutenant Louis Gerard Paine of ME-26. Lt. Paine later oversaw the operation of the AFS Club in Naples which was utilized as a transit point for those heading to or returning from their units as well as for R & R. Shown here is Lt. Paine’s khaki bush jacket displaying the American Field Service patch and AFS shoulder insignia as well as sterling AFS collar insignia. His British made cap bears a sterling AFS cap badge and his initials LGP.920772920773920774920775920776920777920778920779

Opinions on M34 Police Helmet

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a few items from a friend of mine and wanted to get your opinions on this helmet. The liner has been beaten up, with only a couple panels remaining. The helmet appears to have been repainted, which you can see especially around the decal. Seller claims it is a late war reissue, hence the poor paint job, but that seems strange to me. I am lost when it comes to decals. I flipped through my helmet book and tried to figure out the decals but the eagle feet have been scraped off the helmet. The wing tips look ok from what I read, but I just want to be sure.

Thank you for any advise!

Question British Army Tropal Coat (1941)

Morning all,
I want to share with you these two my "Tropal Coat" 1941 marked, they come by a small amount discovered in a farm in Northern Italy, I took these two for a few Euros, they were those in the best conditions.
This find tells me their use on Italian Front, as well as in Norway and North Africa, but the question is this:
in the second example (see photo N°4/5-ex.2nd), contains a stamp with the manufacturer’s name from "Cockrill & Rew of London", the production year 1941 and below the inscription "Flameproof"; in my experience I know these coats were designed to protect from the cold, so why they are marked "flameproof"?
I thank you in advance for all your help.

Greetings
Roberto

NSKK patch on a guidon

Hi…

I wish everyone here in the forum a happy new year.

One on my NSKK guidons which is 100% genuine has this patch on it.
I think that the patch is very amateurish…look at the swastika.

Do you think that the patch is also genuine…?

Thanks for any help
