4 questionable rings including SS-Ehrenring

I have four rings that I recently purchased at auction here in Australia, however after a simple google it looks as if I have been burnt and have in fact purchased four fakes - how embarrassing!

Please help confirm my doubts and put this to rest!

Thank you.

What do you guys think of this 100% live MG42?

This is a 100% live and transferable MG42 here in America that I am thinking of selling mine to buy. What do you think of these markings on the gun? The top cover on the gun right now is just an MG3 top cover so that the current owner could shoot 308, so it does not match the rest of the gun, but he still has the original top cover as you can see in one of the other pictures. The barrel, bolt, receiver, top cover, and even feed tray all appear to match. Original numbers on the parts? Also, the trunnion looks like it is a slightly different color than the rest of the gun. Is this normal? My current MG42 from 1945 looks like this too. Grip from WW2? Thank you very much for the help experts!!!!!

Unknown Reichsbahn Headgear

A friend obtained these 2 hats from the estate of a deceased WW2 (US) veteran.
They were obtained together.

I have no doubt as to their originality, or that they are DRB related.

They are late-war pieces. The body is a medium-blue, but with a green band and piping.
(the chincord buttons are shoulder-board sized, but I have seen that before on other hats).

Has anyone seen anything like these, and if so, and idea who wore them?
(I am thinking they were for wear in one of the Occupied Territories, but I am not sure which).

Here is the visor:

Is this part of a real SS Plate?

I found this at a small flea market I go to on Sundays, The fellow I bought it from told me he found it a box of plates ect at an auction, and did not see it until he got it home.

I have no idea how this came to Canada, however my question is this. Is this part of a period original SS Plate?

Thank You
