hi forum, i recently purchased some ‘unmarked’ 6×30 - they were listed as
Voigtländer ddx dienstglas. Could this be correct? They look similar in design but no markings. I am reading that they could be late war, post war, does anyone know definitively if they are WW2? Have i been ripped off? thanks

Hello, I think this is a nice early Tombak Schickle/ Mayer Design ASA, or? - look at the hock, this seems not a comman one but a very rare one. Or? Have somebody one to compare`? Thanks!

Hi I’m seeking opinions on a potential purchase, the helmet is an m35 rough textured overpaint with a quist shell, liner chinstrap and decal appear all original and the decal has been placed on top of the rough finish hence the flaking, while I like the paint finish I can’t seen to find another to compare it to which gives me doubt as to it being period applied, also the texture looks to me more than sand added to the paint, could it be woodchip? All opinions greatly received.

few years ago i bought this LW DD parade helmet.
It’s made in aluminium , blue paint , as you can see it is from a civil defense style helmet modified , infact are visibles the vent holes 7 points not open but it has two single vent holes.
The maker is EREL.
Some friends said to me that is a copy , not an original war time helmet but anyone can say why…….
Any of you have seen one of these before ?
