Just returned from guiding a group from Texas around the site at Terezín. The site featured on our camp tour last April and is addressed in the thread linked below:

A degree of maintenance work continues at the site but little has changed since the 2015 visit. The Theresienstadt site, unique in its anatomy and purpose, will likely be addressed again in the future. This autumn’s camp tour will be announced shortly.

1) Verwaltungshof (Administration Yard), view toward entrance and gate

2) Former storage facility, used as temporary hospital during late 1944 due to outbreak of dysentery - this section was isolated. Above the wall to the right, the former vegetable garden site

3) Medical treatment room, which patently lacked adequate supplies

4) Yard view toward isolation cells and food storage facility

5) Swimming pool for the SS. Constructed by prisoners during 1942, located adjacent to the Manor House (SS officer and family housing block)

6) Memorial noting the major camps that tens of thousands of Theresienstadt prisoners were eventually deported to

Had this helmet for a while but was just taking some photos today and thought I would post it.

I know its a long shot but I was hoping that someone had items or photos from Ladd field Alaska during ww2. My grandfather was stationed there as part of cold weather testing and lend lease to Russia. Unfortunately he didn’t bring much back with him. Thanks for reading.

Hello Everyone,
I recently got in this claimed “Early SS Belt Buckle” and it came with a photocopy of a period? photo with a guy wearing a similar one. The paper came with a partial link from war relics (http ://warrelics.eu/forum/military_photos/belt-buckles-3-reich/1537353d1289056605t-sch…) and is dated 05/18/2011. I tried to search it out with no success. I would love to find where this was photo was originally posted / previously discussed and to hear what you guys think about it.
