Hi all. I picked these up recently (if you have seen the possible Vet Art German helmet I posted these came in the same kit bag). I initially thought they were WW2 despatch rider breeches, but on further inspection I believe they may be WW1 era. This specific style with the high back I have seen attributed to the Royal Flying Corps but need to do more research on this. I am wondering if anyone knows what the ink stamps opposite the WD mark indicate? Overall these are in amazing condition.

Sorry about the shaky pics, but hopefully it clearly shows the ink stamps.

Scored this nice WWII sub badge recently. It’s a pinback marked
’sterling’ and made by N.S. Meyer - as indicated by a small
shield on the reverse. There are gold stars attached
for three completed/successful patrols………
