Just wanted to show you guys the dove head pattern heer officers sword that me and the guys picked out this weekend at our little meet and greet. Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen - Schwerin-Berlin + certificate

Hi Gentlemen,

I thought I would never buy a denazified badge as they are often just badly mutilated but in this case I think it’s not too bad as the svastika has been quite properly scratched. I considered that it just means "worn after the war" and the other items of the set still make me feel it is a nice piece of history.

Anyway, here is my very first KM badge:

Mützenband Kriegsmarine + Schreiber-
laufbahn patch (according to my researches but I don’t no much about it), were in the set too.

Need help! Picked up German helmet from vet,

I have this helmet that was picked up in Tunisia, at Bizerte north Africa. The us vet did art work on helmet. There is a marking under the brim A 104, could that be a unit marking. There is also a name tag in side on liner. Also same named under layer of paint. Is it possible to trace soldier? I hope the picture show up I’m new to this forum please be patient with me.

Uniform identification, UGECO brown jacket

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I have found what appears to be a uniform jacket, stamped ‘UGECO Nantes’. It’s a brown colour and wool. French manufacture, but I can’t tally it with any WWI or WWII uniforms I can see. Looks like part of a woman’s uniform. Will try to attach a photo. Not great quality - if it works I may add one taken in daylight tomorrow.
