Kriegsmarine ring????

Hi, I’m estatic I found this forum, the information and education here is unparalleled. I think I’ve been reading old threads for 3 days now, lol. I have my doubts on this ring, and ask very much a novice, with a desire to learn as much as possible. I purchased this a little while back looking for a period piece that I could wear everyday. Anyway, just judging by prior knowledge gained here, I think it’s NOT authentic. The inside reads, "U-593 18 August 1943 KM," also, "800." I’m pretty sure the date is when uboat 593 went down? KM, standing for, "Kriegsmarine," and, "800," meaning silver. Originally, I thought it one of a kind until I googled and seen this ring previously being sold quite often online. As well as chatted with another owner of the same piece. Is it possible the ring is a kind of memorial of the fallen or just a straight junk piece? Thanks.

frankenstein SS visor cap ‘deutsche wertarbeit’

A simple question but yet nobody has been able to clearly tell me what this is. I believe this is a repro with original parts sewn into it? this cap is not mine but lately i got an (imho) original feuerloschpolizei schirmmutze with exactly the same lining and with the same amount of age too. I will ad some pictures of my fire cap for comparison. the last 7 pictures are from the fire police cap.

help me out please
thanks!

My Latest Imperial Bayonet

1005762 1005763 1005764 1005765 1005766 1005761

These three blades are my latest flea-market finds representing three different conflicts: an American-made catling or Civil War-era amputation knife; an unmarked dress bayonet from the TR era; and the 1904-dated Imperial. The latter is unfortunately missing its (likely) leather scabbard and is lightly rusted overall. It still presents a satisfactory appearance with no cracks or chips out of the wooden grip panels or sharpening to the blade; the bayonet catch still works too! It’s maker marked C. G. Hanel and Suhl.

Question Brennzünder 39

Hi folks, I am in the process of putting together the parts to make a complete (inert) M24 stick grenade. I purchased this igniter and pull cord from SV Militaria and I want to make sure I have the correct type. I have identified it as a Bz 39 type used in stick hand grenades. I know there is a variant for Nebel or smoke grenades. This appears to be the correct type to pair up with an M24. It will be matched up with the stick portion shown here and a Winter type cap. Comments appreciated. Still working on locating an inert head piece. NH

Need help! Two unknown german helmets.

Hi Guys! I am currently in possession of two (WWII?) helmets. But I honestly have no idea where they are from.

I would love some help if anyone would be so kind as to let me know where/when they are from. I will include two images.
