Used by German soldiers to repair their kit/uniform, these valuable piece of kits came in handy.

Complete with folding scissors, thread and needles.

Great condition, had them for years.. still use them to this day

Not sure about some of the contents to be honest, but they give a idea about what was inside (??)

Also found inside one of them, was a old Berlin Tram ticket..

My collection of Gebirgsjäger Mountain Troop goggles.

Are they German or Italian?

Not sure why they are different in style?

Some thing to do with snow "glare" I suppose

Trying to find the little tins that houses the other two pair..

Never use them as it never snows

Although a few years ago, I did take out the "Crows Feet" slit type Goggles, when it did snow.

They offered a good clear view in the bright cold sunshine. No snow glare either.

Quite surprised actually.. cool militaria

It’s ages since I have had a wound badge to add to my collection but this tidy maker marked 4 on the pin Steinhauer & Luck arrived today so I thought I’d pop it on here.

It seems to be in quite good condition with lots of paint remaining.

Any comments or opinions welcomed.
