Picked up some nice item’s at a military show last weekend.

SS pith helmet, Kyffhäuser visor cap, Kyffhäuser gorget, a small veteran cap badge and a treuedienstabzeichen 40 jahre..

The SS pith helmet has been verified by some collectors.. to be a good one.
I know the guy who sold me it and he told me backside of shields bear the maker marks of J.F.S
And year 43.. I have not dared to take them of! I trust the guy I got it from..

Then I picked up a nice Veterans cap and a absolutely beautiful 25 year veterans gorget.. must be the best looking gorget I have ever owned.
I will let the pictures do the talking.

And a treuedienstabzeichen 40 jahre in mint condition…

Will do some separate threads on the item’s later..

I am a blade (knives, dagger, sword) collector since I was a boy…especially focusing on traditional knives from Italy and France.
I also have a special interest in history of XX century (in middle ages also…)

Hello everyone,

I’ve heard that the Russian White Army used the WW1 German Stahlhelm models to equip the White soldiers during the civil war, they would also apparently mount an imperial Russian badge on the front as well.

So I’ve been searching for period photos and museum/collector’s examples of these Russian Stahlhelms but I have not found any as of yet (outside of these drawings). So my question to the forum would be if you have found any period photos of these helmets and or you own one of these helmets then please post them here! Any more info is of course welcome as well.

Hopefully we’ll get an interesting thread started.
