Home Front fiber helmet “Dunn & Co”

Morning everyone,
I want to show this private purchase Homefront fiber helmet.
It is similar to the model "Cromwell protector" but manufactured by "G.A. Dunn & Co Ltd", a well-known British hats manufacturer.
Liner is the Mk1 type used on steel helmets, but only shows the size mark "7".
The chinstrap lugs are marked 1938 and are the same model used on the Mk2 helmets; inside there are no other brands but only the Dunn’s label.
In the past I have found other examples of this kind of helmets but very worn, however this example is in very good condition and to me it seems interesting to share it with you.:)

Regards
Roberto

Casque Mle 1950 TAP

Really pleased to add this 1950 period 1st model 202 airborne training helmet ,the brushed camo pattern really was what caught my eye and makes me think otherwise to its use just as only a training helmet cool militaria1017127101712510171211017119101712010171241017117101711810171221017123101712610171281017129

Question Difference between ww1 Aviator Goggles and ww2 Japanese tanker Goggles

Hey guys,

I’ve had a pair of goggles that I got from some time now and I was pretty certain that they were ww1 British Aviator goggles, but just recently I saw a picture of a Japanese gunner with nearly the exact same goggles. Is this a way to tell which is which, or is this a case of Japanese using old British Surplus?

Chinese Type 03 Plateau Pattern “Tibet- Tarn” Camouflage

Hi all. Wasn’t sure where to put this as I didn’t want to clog up the world camo thread if they turn out to be rubbish. I picked this jacket and trouser set up recently but am not sure if they are the real deal or commercial reproductions. Any advice would be great. Cheers.
