This particular cap badge has me puzzled..
It is purportedly a un-finished badge.. My thoughts are this.. No maker mark visible,
It lacks the "tri-angular" Reichsleitung des Arbeitsdienstes or RLAD..
The "Swirling" as shown on the sheaves does not conform to my vast collection of badges.
Could this be a "Variant" not seldom seen / encountered or a pure bogus piece ?

Hello again,

Now let me ask you all about this SS Dachau sign I came across. Has anyone ever seen anything like it? Do you feel it has been artificially aged?

Morning gentlemen,
Another interesting flag to share. Since my last post, I have really taken to the flags with artwork on them, so when this came up, I just had to add it to the collection. This example has a fantastic sketch of a MG team and a bomber flying through the clouds.

From my preliminary research the flag does not have any visible recipient but it does look to have the location and person who gave the flag, plus many signatures and a few of the usual slogans.

大野町 = Ōno Town, (Ibi District, Gifu Prefecture)
富秋村 = Tomiaki Village
組合管理者井深常治郎= Association/union manager Tsunejirō Ibuka
豊木 村 = Toyoki Village

The flag also came with a senninbari that looks to have the name of the former owner and the name of a shrine that I can’t quite make out. Maybe 百済寺 - Hyakusai-ji Temple.

No idea if the flag and senninbari belong together but I bought them together so maybe hey do?

Hello. I got this Kriegsmarine leather-jacket, the short version used by engineers. Is it original or not? The collar, side-pockets and the strap on the back is details that I never seen on a Kriegsmarine engineer jacket before…The side-pockets looks like them from a deck jacket, but the color is not the same grey one.
Can this maybe be a late war "economi-model"?
The long version deck jacket is bigger and cost more money to make. Maybe they tried to make a hybrid to save money and materials?

Or is this extra details just added by some civilian idiot? Thanks for answers.

Only found the site today. Been reading it all day.P08 I ordered a few months ago finally turned up at the dealers and I was more than happy to find it was all matching. Pretty good nic too. I presume the date on the barrel is the year? Also very different markings on the backstrap. Does it mean it’s been French property at one time?

Now I just have to wait for the licence to come back.

Hi,

These are my two 43 marked Julius Bauer & Söhne KVK1. The sword variant is common to find, but the without sword variant is rare. This has regrettably been partly cleaned at one point, but still a nice cross.

Hello guys, what do you think about this one? If i remember correctly it looks like a Deumer to me, also i remember seeing that "dot" flaw on the wing only on the small mark type. Am i correct?
