Need help! WW1 Verwundetenabzeichen in black
Hi Guys, just wondered if I could pick your brains on this one ?
Picked this up at the weekend the dimensions are as follows:
Weight: 8g
Height: 38mm
Width: 42.2mm
The badge is extremely detailed, except for the 2 inner leaves on the lower/right side of the badge ( just below the skirt of the helmet). I wondered if the bow design is okay, it differs from others that I have seen on the forum, also wondered if the pin set-up is acceptable too, as you look at the pin (from reverse, there is a line running along the full length). Another thing I noticed is that the helmet seems to have a coat of paint (looks field gray-ish) underneath ?

Nahkampfspange bronze A.G.M.u.K Gablonz authentic?
Hello,
I am full of doubt with this Nahkampfspange. I have compared it with my example in silber from the same MM (authentic, showed in a previous post), I would say it’s genuine as well but I don’t feel comfortable with the color which seems very dark, I am not sure it is the appropriate metal for this award…
What do you think about it?
