I got a call from a friend of mine today about a man having a WWII Good luck flag for sale, so we went to look!I was pleasantly surprised in the condition and I found the handwriting interesting..not the same style I usually encounter. I would be interested to see what the well wishers had to say if anything other than names is present.The flag is made of silk and has what appears to be pigskin corner reinforcements. Hey guys, I’m new to this forum and to collecting in general. I bid on a box full of vintage pocket knives and some other random junk at a local online auction. The box also contained, from the research I’ve been doing, a third-patterun F/S fighting knife. It is marked with a 3 near the top and also with "England" on the guard. I haven’t seen any other markings on it but these. Not sure if it’s a fake or real. The pocket knives all date to the 1940’s and the box basically looks like someone just emptied their junk drawer. So what do you think? Do I actually have something here or it also junk? Sorry again, I’m very new to this. Any help is much appreciated!
