Need help! Very small puzzling brass or bronze relic, possible ID?

Hello fellow battlefield relic enthusiasts.
I have another small find of mine that I can’t id, any way I turn it.
I went on a small hunt at my "spot", a beachside WWII italian-german bunker on the mediterranean coast in Greece.
Not many finds, very slim pickings although the rain last week was torential and I had hopes that some small relics might have been washed out of the diggouts and the mound of dirt thrown up by the bombardements…
Nope, nothing spectacular.
But I found this small item, ~1×1,5cm, looks like it’s brass or bronze, has the remains of an iron rivet in it.

I have many theories of what it could have been, ranging from ID-card ring, key chain ring holder to sock suspender but I’m not able to pin it down…

Any ideas out there?

Is this an authentic German WW2 helmet? Possible Hitler Youth?

Dear War Relics Community,

Hi everyone its BroncoDenver99 again with another helmet I found. This helmet is listed as an M40 but a second opinion had told seller the helmet was a Hitler Youth helmet. I don’t know what would make them think this, maybe you guys could help. But I’m not even sure if this helmet is real to begin with. Let me know your thoughts and opinions! Thanks, BroncoDenver99.

Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Zweite Stufe, Kerbach & Oestrhelt with Envelope and Tissue.

A recent addition to my Mutterkruez collection. :)
I now have two examples by this maker, both with envelope. The background pattern behind the blue enamel matches in both.

early SS ground Röhm dagger w/ anodized scabbard

Hello all,

I just posted this one in the classified section and wanted to show some more photos of it here. This was purchased directly via Estate sale from the daughter of a 78th Airborne Troop Carrier Flight Officer that was a Battle of Burp Gun Corner participant. The cross guards are marked "AR" internally. This is a dagger with a lot of character!
