I need help proving the autenthicity of 4 items from the Nazi regime.

This Heer Panzerjäger Gefreiter Waffenrock was with one of the local dealers here, and it has tempted me for a few months, and yesterday I crumbled, and picked it up,
the jacket has a slight amount of moth damage, but that is mostly covered by the overlay of the tunic as the front, and one very small amount of damage near one of the
collar patches, which is negligible. other than that (and one missing belt ramp hook) I think it is a rather nice OR’s example, so I thought I would share a few photos……

A bit of history behind the unit, Panzerjäger-Abteilung 41 was part of the Heer 6th Panzer Division:-

The 6. Panzer-Division was formed in October 1939 in Wuppertal from 1. Leichte-Division. It took part in the campaign in the west before being transferred to East Prussia in July 1940 and took part in Operation Barbarossa fighting on the northern sector. It was transferred to the central sector in October 1940 suffering heavy losses and it was sent to France in May 1942 for refitting.

It returned to the Eastern front in December and took part in the failed attempt to relieve the surrounded troops at Stalingrad. It later took part in the fighting at Kharkov and Kursk, before suffering heavy losses during the retreat through the Ukraine. It was refitted and transferred to the central sector where it remained until December 1944 when it was transferred to Hungary where it took part in the defense of Budapest. It withdrew to Austria in March 1945 fighting near Vienna and finally surrendered to the Red Army near Brünn.

Don’t know if anyone else here saw this on face book ,but a German Elefant tank destroyer was posted being unloaded at Southampton docks (Bovington tank museum live) apparently its on loan from the US Army Ordanance & Heritage centre (Wonder how much the freight cost ?) and is to be part of an upcoming display of the Tiger Tank family at Bovington tank museum (This one would be big Daddy one would think) on youtube there’s a a bit of film of it in transit ! Merry Christmas Tank buffs ,Regards ,Paul:D

Hi everyone, with modern military NBC gloves, there is an inner cotton glove and and an outer rubber glove. Why are they separate?
