-Is there anyone able to identify this maker?
-how should the eagle be reattached? it looks like it was glued to the cap.. no stitching visible
- what about the odd looking stitching on the exterior cap band?

in my second outing with a metal detector i found this item but i have no idea what it is. :confused:
Front: approximately 15 cm ⌀

On it there are no holes or hooks.:(
Some other guys have found the same object in different part of Italy always in places where there were battles or Allied/German encampment. ; nobody knows anything about it.
They suppose it has to do with German armaments, but in my opinion i think belongs to Canadian troops.
I hope you can help me:)
