BYF 41 or 42?

Hello

Recently I bought a black widow byf 41 all matching with 75-80% finish left for $1600. I wasn’t happy with the finish condition as a good amount of bare metal was showing on the grip and to the left of the side plate and on the end of the barrel I actually couldn’t sleep thinking about how rough it was finish wise (even tho very good mechanically and the barrel looked great) The very nice gentleman who I had bought it from had said when I was first meeting him to look at that if I changed my mind in a few days I could sell it back to him for what I paid for it. I did sell it back to him and am now looking for a 95% or better all matching BYF code 41 or 42.

Are the byf’s made in 42 of lesser quality kinda like k98 Mausers got rougher and rougher later in the war??

What price would be reasonable for a 95% or above all matching byf 41 or 42? I know black widows tend to be more expensive but i dont mind the wood grips either so that doesn’t matter as much to me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been collecting k98 mausers for years and wish I knew what I know now when I first started because I was burned once or twice over the years.

Thank you all for the help…

Question Unknow german leather jacket

Hello everyone on the forum!

It ’s my first post, and not knowing where to start posting I chose this section, I hope not it wrong!

I explain my doubt.
I have a German leather jacket, which was donated by a German Commissioner to my grandfather in the 60’s.
The problem is that this jacket does not have any kind of labels (no brands or size labels).
In addition the buttons present are covered with skin and do not have no symbol behind essi.La jacket has only three buttons, but the style looks military.

It ‘possible that he was a Nazi jacket that all the labels were removed after the war? Or is it a jacket produced after the war?
It is also a military model / police or civilian is?

Unfortunately I do not have much information about, belonging that was given to my grandfather by this commissioner of kriminal polizei.

Thank you all for availability.

P.S: sorry for my english….
P.P.S: I noticed that the collar seams are similar to those: http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/attach…jacket-004.jpg

Panzer Schützenschnur Marksmanship Lanyard

I just picked up this lanyard last week for $10.00. I think it may even be a real one???? I have a panzer emblem in my collection I want to put on it but the prongs are missing. Has anyone tried to repair the prongs on one of these before? Or does anyone know an alternative method of attaching it to the lanyard?

Thanks

Need help! Identifying double printed photo with text

I have this picture for a fairly long time now and today I found it between some other pictures. I totally forgot I had this picture. It is a double printed picture.

It shows a group of soldiers posing inside of a train. It also shows 4 soldiers holding a (what i think is a silver tray) tray. It wont be a normal tray, or else you won’t show it of on photo. On the backside of the photo there are some things written.

-2 abzüge ( which indicates it is a double printed photo)
-Frau E.Feldmann Kosten (Warthegau) Reg. Bez. Posen Landratsamt

It also looks like some kind of signature on the back, but it more likely to be just a scrabble.

I wish that maybe someone here will be able to help me find more information about this picture
