Before I dig and deeper on this pair of vases can I please ask if this type of case is an accepted pattern or maybe one of the 1980’s type fantasy pieces ?? Jackpot or avoid ?? Regards . Jim. I will dig deeper once I know if its worth with asking for better pictures ect . I am just wondering if they are an accepted Allach Pattern ?

Good morning gents,

I could’nt seem to find an obvious location for this post so apologies if this is the wrong place.

I suppose that just about everyone with an interest in the Wehrmacht and WWII will have seen the well known images of Hauptman Friedrich Konrad WINKLER at Stalingrad with the broken ISA even if the name doesn’t come to mind.

However, Henry WINKLER perhaps better known as Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli in the TV show Happy Days bears a striking resemblance to the Hauptman and he is of German extraction. Co-incidence or family likeness, what do you think?

Hello to all

I want to show you mein schönes "Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwertern".

Unfortunately a small piece of the hinge is missing, but nothing that affects it´s aesthethics or functionality, so i can still wear it for work everyday, to get my collegues respect ..

(For all the trolls.. that was a Joke !!)

it has a makers mark on the "pin", but i cannot recognize well what it is, i believe its a "4"..

As i like this KVK quite much, therefore i share it with y´all here at WRF..
I just hope it survives this inspection here..

Any comments are welcome, of course…
