GEW 98 Muzzle Cover Markings

I have a Gew 98 muzzle cover with imperial markings and regimental marking. Can someone please help me with the regimental markings? The markings are 178.R.9.58 I think the 178 is a Saxon regiment and the 58 is the weapon number?

I would appreciate any help on this .

Rear Admiral Slote and Klein Leather Flight Cap WWII

Gents,

Here is another recent acquisition. It is a US WWII USN Rear Admiral Flight Cap. Unfortunately there is no name associated with the piece to attribute it to anyone specific. However, given the rank a neat piece for my collection. It is in very good condition and the interior leather is supple and the chin strap is still functional as well.cool militaria
