Sos 2017

A real nice first day at the show. A Heer WKC slant and an Eickhorn 2nd pattern luft. Picked them as a pair and bargain at that!!! Remind me again why I love this show!!:)

Question Anyone recognise this web equipment strap?

Hey guys,
Does anyone recognise or know the origin of this strap? Its been converted to a chin strap on an M40 helmet. Don’t think its German as german utility straps had a pointy end? Maybe a gas cansiter strap?
Sorry for the limited images

A Holster for the Hauptmann! JOA 1943 P-38

Hi Guys,
Finally found a nice field used hard shell P-38 holster for my Heer Artillery Hauptmann uniform. cool militaria This is a 1943 marked JOA holster. Nice supple leather with just the right amount of use but not abused. :)
I was not able to place the holster on the mannequins left side as typically seen because the loops for the wound badge were so low that the badge was partially behind the holster. I have seen a few photos of soldiers wearing the holster on their right side so I guess this will have to work here. Comments welcomed. Thanks, Bob
