Hello,
Im getting interested in Polish militaria, specifically medals and hat badges. Are there any books on this or websites etc. ?
Also, are fakes a big problem? Im trying to escape all of the faked soviet militaria.

Help with Cloth and patches

I bought a bunch of patches and cloth from a World War II widow. I was able to easily identify the majority of the patches and cloths however there are a few that Have me guessing. Hoping someone can help. Was pretty sure the gold bullion Eagles were naval officer but the green and silver for sure I don’t know. Thanks for any input.

Important! St.Nazaire Charioteer R.W. (Bill) Bannister has Passed, Sad News.

Very sad news this week that St.Nazaire veteran (RN MGB 314 ) R.W. (Bill) Bannister has passed away , I did hear on Tuesday but have delayed this until now. So near to the 75th Anniversary of the Raid.

I will be in St.Nazaire in a few weeks, there are now only 2 Commando Veteran’s remaining from the Raid. I will not mention names but I am sure anyone with an interest in the raid will know who they are.
