I was able to add this example to my collection recently.
I have not seen many like this one before and felt that it would look good on my Panzer wrap instead of an aluminum parade one.

War Relics Militaria sales

Hi all! About to start my next project and I’d like to collect some thoughts. Most of my lids have been done in 6006, very similar to this original here.

However I’d like to simulate the vast number of variations of the same "field grey" German paint, in particular the more obviously grey shades like these.

I’m thinking of using RAL 7037, maybe with some black mixed in to darken it. I can’t get the colour matched because I don’t actually have a sample to take with me.

I was wondering if this cockade is authentic. I know these are heavily faked and I can’t find photos of this particular model online.

I recently posted a judicial official shoulder board, and while the authenticity isn’t an issue, someone removed the three rosette style rank pips from it. I want to replace them, and, to that end, have searched high and low on the interwebs looking for them. I cannot find other than the standard military pips that we are all familiar with. I don’t have any access to ebay nor do I have an account on it, so it is not really an option.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Maybe someone has seen them for sale somewhere?

Hi, I just bought an M17 ‘Brodie’ from Portugal. It is marked HS277, which corresponds to other on the Internet. And has the remains of the front badge (is it a decal?)

Now these were supplied in 1917, but all I have seen are rimless, is this true? As they were used all the way through to the Spanish Civil war I guess the rims might have come off through use?

What sort of liner would it have had when supplied?

Just picked this up. Sadly the scabbard is mismatched but otherwise very nice. Made by E.u.F. Hörster, maybe around 36-7?

Scabbard is marked 4432 C
