Need Help Dating a Luger.

Hello all, I recently inherited a Luger that was brought back from WWII by my great uncle. It has several markings which should be visible in the picks below. It is either nickel or chrome plated and all parts are stamped with 27. I have been able to discern that it is stamped with the waffen amt marking as well as several crown N markings. The P.S. 203 marking has lead me to believe it was originally a Sachsen Police Luger ? Any help at narrowing down a date would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Silver war badge #116466

Picked up today and the seller had done some research, it seems to be for private Thomas Evans of the 9th battalion the welsh regiment. He did not get the full SWB record so I do not know why he was discharged or get his star medal roll. I have been told you can get free access to ancestry in your local library otherwise I will have to wait until their next free offer.

Mk2 N°2C Home Guard

Morning everyone,
I wanted to show you this untouched helmet, used but in excellent condition, belonged to a "Home Guard" member; it is a Mk2 N°2C painted in textured khaki green.
The shell is 1941 dated, but the maker mark is barely visible, for features could be JSS in my opinion, but I’m not sure.
The liner is a "Mk2 TTC 1940" size 7-1/2 with a Mk3 chin strap.
Interesting letters are painted under the back flap: "BI.HG", I think that HG = Home Guard, while BI =? … maybe the letters that identify a HG District or HG Units/Specialties ?

Thank you for looking.:D
Roberto

Early HJ Fahrtenmesser thinblade by Carl Schmidt Sohn

This is a thinblade that i simply couldnt resist, although its not entirely in mint condition.
Its an overall early knife, that means only 1 scabbard runner-spring (only on the frontside) it still has its cotton lining.
The strap was once braun, still visible on the braun caramel coloured button, and when you hold in right you can see it started its life brown.
Oil changed its colour.
Nice thing is: it has the leather strap marking we sometimes see on these HJ straps: LFS in a oakleave.
Exception is that this one has the marking on the inside of the strap, and we normally find these on the backside!
The little diamond wiggles and is free of damage, the frontside gripplate has a crack running from the lower rivet to the guard.
Schmidt has shallow etches, as a lot of these thinblades have, but its still nicely visible, blade has some stains, but is not sharpened and even shows some grain.
Shallow etces are hard to get on pics, but i think you get the picture.
Exactly like Scott mentioned about his WMW HJ knive, this one is also better in hand :)
This is a rather scarce maker, although it lately seems that quality knives and daggers are harder to find these days!
Enjoy the pics.
Ger
